This book is about a girl named Elena who signs up for a semester in a foreign country to learn about the culture, the country, the language, and playwriting. She meets some new people and a Spain native. Then she becomes a star in her own play alongside her
friend, Jenna. Elena meets new friends, learns Spanish, and does something nobody in her family of over-achievers has done.
I chose to review this book because I really liked it and it has something besides a funny plot. It has culture.
